Westcotec founder Philip Hayton sentenced to eight months for running down Irish policeman in 1984

Philip Hayton in 2014. In 1984 he pled guilty to running down an Irish policeman with his car and was sentenced to 8 months imprisonment. Now living in his native England, he has become wealthy as owner of a company that sells road safety signs, Westcotec. It is located in Dereham, Norfolk.
